SSC Unveils New Master Brand Name
Security Service Provider Part of SMG Corporate Services
Shelton, CT (August 28, 2017) – Security Services of Connecticut (SSC) – already operating as an aligned company with Service Management Group (SMG) since 1975 – has unveiled SMG Corporate Services as the master brand name for both organizations.
The new name is part of a larger initiative by the collective group to define its value as a full-service provider for the commercial, retail, corporate office, industrial, manufacturing, educational, healthcare, financial and government markets.
SSC provides Security, Training, Background Screening and Investigations services; and SMG provides Cleaning, Janitorial and Property Maintenance services.
SSC is among the largest privately owned full-service security and risk mitigation firms with headquarters in the Northeast, but delivers service in a more responsive, hands-on way than most. The company has been privately owned and operated since its inception, growing through service excellence instead of acquisitions. It features exceptionally-trained security personnel and a 24-hour communication center inside its Shelton, Connecticut, headquarters.

In addition to sharing the SMG Corporate Services master brand name, SSC and SMG will also share a logo, website and slogan – Reliability At Every Level.
