Villagomez served in the United States Marine Corp for four years, achieving various levels of security clearance while studying counter-terrorism and weapons management.

Prior to SSC, Hal was Security Supervisor at Reader's Digest Association – where he developed security policies and procedures for all personnel across six global locations.

Villagomez also held the Security Manager position at Summit Development, conducting vulnerability and risk assessments that evolved safety guidelines for employees, contractors and visitors.

Hal earned a Bachelor's degree in General Studies with a focus on Computer Science from Sacred Heart University (Fairfield, CT).
